On November 25, 2024, a meeting with consuls of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk was held at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
The event was attended by Rector Anatolii Tsos, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Communication Nataliia Blahovirna, Head of Department of Polish Studies and Translation Svitlana Sukharieva, Associate Professor of Department of Polish Studies and Translation Yuliia Vaseiko, as well as the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk Marek Wojciechowski and Consul Krzysztof Wasilewski.
During the meeting, Rector and the Consulate representatives discussed the prospects for future cooperation, the possibility of organising joint events and projects as well as interaction with Department of Polish Studies. The importance of the participation of lecturers and students in international initiatives to contribute to the strengthening of cultural and scientific ties between Ukraine and Poland was emphasized.
“I sincerely thank you for taking the time to visit our best Volyn National University. We have a very good tradition of cooperation with the Consulate General, which has lasted for many years and covered various areas,” Anatolii Tsos noted welcoming the guests.
Special attention during the meeting was paid to the discussion of existing areas of cooperation, as well as opportunities for their further improvement.
