The Arabic Center at the Faculty of Foreign Philology was established in 2013. The initiator of its foundation was the teacher of the Department of German Philology, candidate of philological sciences, Yassin Ajabi (Algeria). Within the scope of the center's work, educational services are provided for learning the Arabic language, lectures on the Islamic world are given, trips are made to Islamic centers in Ukraine, evenings of Arab culture are organized, etc.
TsAMK harmoniously complemented the galaxy of foreign language study centers created in recent years at the faculty. After all, students are increasingly showing interest in the cultures of countries not covered by their specialization. Today, you won't surprise anyone by learning Germanic or Romance languages, it is quite often perceived as something self-evident and ordinary. The rapid pace of development of political, economic, cultural and other civilizational processes is "reshaping" traditional conservative approaches to the training of young specialists. Globalization forces us to consider the study of languages that were once exotic for our region not as another novelty or fashionable hobby, but as a powerful tool for realizing one's career.

The Arab Center plans to hold evenings of Arabic poetry and Arabic folk songs.
