The Center was established at the Faculty of International Relations of Volyn National University named after Lesya Ukrainka by the decision of the University's Academic Council dated August 30, 2022.
Its functioning is the result of the implementation of the Jean Monnet Chair "EU Studies at the Lesia Ukrainka University" grant project of the European Union Erasmus+ program during 2019-2022 on the basis of the University.
