On the picturesque shores of the largest lake in Ukraine, Svityaz, is the practice base of the camp “Gart” of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. For more than 40 years, students of the university have had the opportunity to undergo internships, participate in international, national, regional and university scientific and practical conferences, seminars, improve their health and relax.
Today, the practice base can accommodate 260 people. First of all, large dormitory buildings were built - “Vulyk” and “Murashnyk” - two-story buildings with rooms for 2-3 people and holiday houses with all amenities (furniture, refrigerator, TV, etc.). New ventilation, heating, and sewage systems have been installed in the wooden structures, allowing them to host people all year round. Each building has an original name: “Silver Wolf”, ‘Bear's Paw’, ‘Pot-bellied Frog’, ‘Golden Eagle’, ‘Badger's Burrow’, ‘Three Storks’, ‘Big Spider’, ‘May May Beetle’, the administrative building ‘Traveling Falcon’, the conference hall ‘Owl’, the sauna ‘Beaver's House’, and the dining room ‘Three Bears’. The conference hall with a capacity of 300 seats is a special pride of the hotel. There is a summer bar and a dance floor near the beach.
