The principles of academic integrity are of vital importance for both staff and students of Lesya Ukrainka National University. They are an inseparable part of development of science and research at our university as well as a marker of quality assurance and a tool that helps to create an effective system to prevent and fight academic plagiarism.
The university strives to shape academic values and instill sophisticated academic culture, promote moral values, social activism and responsibility of each member of the university community. We are also concerned about raising the university profile on Ukrainian and global educational scene.
In 2020 Lesya Ukrainka National University became the finalist of the “Academic Integrity and Quality Initiative”, the Academic IQ project which is being implemented by the American Councils with the assistance of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, as well as with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education.
