We live in difficult times of the ongoing struggle for our freedom. It is impossible to stand aside from the events happening around us, declaring your citizenship should not be something to be afraid of.
Therefore, the primary trade union students organisation of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University decided to organise a charity fair. All volunteers had an opportunity to make a contribution: some baked sweets, others prepared sandwiches for the fair or joined by choosing motivational lyrics from Ukrainian poets (March 21 is World Poetry Day!). Many students and lecturers supported our initiative. As a result, 8,854 hryvnias were collected!
With joint efforts, the student trade unions of the Faculty of Philology and Journalism and the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work will transfer all the fundraised costs to purchase of Mavic 3T for the 93rd Separate Mechanised Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar".
We believe that this will not be our last event in support of the Armed Forces! To the Victory together!
