On May 19, 2023, a regular conference of the Scientific Society of Postgraduate Students and Students was held at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. Among the main issues was the summary of the society’s work for the 2022–2023 academic year and the election of Head of the University’s National Technical and Scientific Committee.
Olha Karaim, Curator of the Scientific Society of Graduate Students and Students, noted that the planned activities were fully implemented according to the approved plan. The main ones were: volunteering to help defenders, as well as the participation of students and graduate students in various scientific conferences, round tables, training courses, submission of applications and the victory of students in the first two rounds of the “Zavtra.UA” scholarship programme, a presentation-training dedicated to the Day of Academic Integrity, the association’s participation in the “Embroidering Ukraine with Science” project. The “SCIENTIFIC GAME” quest was held as part of the Week of Academic Integrity, on the Day of Science-2023 the society organised and successfully held the XVIII International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists “Young Science in Volyn: Priorities and Prospects of Research”, Mind Game “Student Science Quiz” and more.
As a conference’s follow-up, the election of Head of the University’s Scientific Society of Postgraduate Students and Students was held. The third-year student of Faculty of Philology and Journalism, Veronika Pyroh became the winner. Dmytro Vasylenko, a sophomore from the Faculty of Biology and Forestry, was elected Deputy Chairman.
We expect new initiatives, interesting ideas, creative thoughts from young scientists! We wish success in scientific activity and popularisation of science, realisation of dreams and ideas under a peaceful sky!
