On Easter, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University representatives visited military personnel undergoing rehabilitation in Lutsk medical institutions. Rector Anatolii Tsos accompanied by lecturers and students brought gifts to the defenders of Ukraine. What is more, the lecture and student delegation, led by the dean of the Faculty of Culture and Arts, Vitaly Okhmanyuk, organized a concert for military personnel.
Lesya’s People entertained patients and medical staff with a diverse repertoire – folk songs, Ukrainian song classics and compositions by modern Ukrainian artists.
According a concert participant, Honoured Pop Art Artist of Ukraine, Lecturer of Faculty of Culture and Arts Oleksandr Holoshchuk, it is an honour and a pleasure to perform for our defenders. “When there is an opportunity to see a hint of a smile on the face of a serviceperson, it is an extraordinary happiness and elation. Everyone understands and knows how difficult it is, everyone perceives it differently. For us personally, this is a small victory,” said the lecturer.
