A new academic year has begun. The teaching staff of FIT&M understands the complexity and concurrently the wisdom of the tasks set by the Head of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
Ensuring a high-quality educational process should be harmoniously intertwined with the help of young people in safe establishing of an active student life. We can’t but mention the volunteer movement. Yes, students of specialties 014 Secondary Education (Mathematics), 014 Secondary Education (Informatics), 111 Mathematics, 122 Computer Science together with teachers led schools for young mathematicians and IT specialists. Students of 125 Cyber Security and 122 Computer Science majors held the information front.
The FIT&M family has also cooperated with volunteers who are responsible for the humanitarian support of Ukrainians affected by the occupiers and fulfill the needs of our soldiers. We also help the cyber police. Today, their activities are aimed at the protection of state information resources and critical infrastructure objects, implementation of measures to raise awareness of citizens about cyber security. Such measures help prevent the leakage of important, confidential information and access to classified sources. So, the “GigaProg” team together with “Redwing.studio” joined the fight in the information war and created a unique system. Oleksandr Pliasun and Dmytro Matviyuk, graduates of previous years, as well as current bachelor’s graduate Andriy Stupin, who will continue his master’s studies at Lesya’s University, took part in the the software development. Their significant contribution to the fight against cybercrime has been duly appreciated and acknowledged. The award ceremony took place in the premises of the Lutsk Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Volyn region, but without ceremonies and honours.
Other students, who joined the ranks of the cyber warriors with the X-activists, are also involved in the same sphere (protection of information space). FIT&M values their work on such an important milestone. We believe in Victory and know that selfless work on all fronts brings that long-awaited joyful moment closer!
