The first intern was certified at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. This was discussed during the meeting of the university’s attestation commission at Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital.
The attestation procedure was attended by: Head of the Department of Health Protection of Volyn Regional State Administration, Yurii Lehkodukh, Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatolii Tsos, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education Oleh Dykyi, Dean of Medical Faculty Andrii Poruchynskyi, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Clinical Medicine, Head of Neurology Department of VRCH, Olha Shulha, Neurologist of VRCH, Nataliia Bobryk, Associate Professor of Department of Clinical Medicine, Olena Yakobson.
Dean of Faculty of Medicine Andrii Poruchynskyi announced the procedure for certifying interns in accordance with the Internship Regulations and Rector’s order. “The intern is excellent in her job, she has completed the entire internship programme. She has worked and studied well,” said Olha Shulha, Senior Lecturer at Department of Clinical Medicine, Head of Neurological Department of VRCH.
Yuriy Lehkodukh highly appreciated Olga Shulha’s professional skills: “She is a “guru” of medical educational process in Volyn. Having vast experience, professional skills; she has trained a large number of specialists. Therefore, her work with interns is useful and effective.” Based on the attestation results, the attestation commission granted Oleksandra Pervova the qualification of Specialist Doctor in Specialty “Neurology”. Rector Anatolii Tsos wished the doctor successful work and assured that the University would do everything necessary for the development of medicine in Volyn.
