The baton of graduation ceremony was passed to the Masters of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Physics and Technology, the Faculty of Chemistry, Ecology and Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Psychology.
As part of the tradition, the visitors of the ceremony sang the National Anthem of Ukraine and commemorated the University’s representatives who perished defending the sovereignty of our country in the eastern regions.
After that, the hosts of the event invited the Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatolii Tsios to give a speech: “I sincerely congratulate you on graduation from our University with respectable 80-year old history of educational traditions. And our international honours and recognitions testify to the righteousness of our path. Should you be fair in your job and put your soul into it, then everything will be fine. I have no doubt in your talents, so I sincerely wish you to realise your potential.”
Then the Deputy Head of Volyn Regional State Administration Liudmyla Tymoschuk took the floor: “Congratulations on this special day that happened to coincide with the great Christian holiday of Epiphany and Baptism of Christ. Let the festive mood accompany you in everyday work. This diploma is the fruit of your work. And you would rather work even harder in the future, because life's demands are changing and we all have to stay tuned. I am proud to be a graduate of our University and I want you to be equally proud. I wish you good health, success, and love in your hearts!”
The Rector of Lutsk Pedagogical College of Volyn Regional Council Petro Boychuk contributed to the celebration, too: “Our graduates are our colleagues. I am firmly believe that you all succeed and your success will be in the needed spheres of our country. And we will be proud of you. May you be forever young!”
Kateryna Pavliuk, the Chief Specialist of Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic, Environmental Assessment of the Department of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Regional State Administration, also motivated the masters: “I am very happy to be on this stage. Last year, I received Master's degree as well, and now I can confidently claim that I have never regretted even for a minute my choice of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. I wish you have many loyal friends and experience true happiness in your personal lives.”
Ivan Leush, the principal of Lutsk school № 26, also congratulated the graduates: “It is nice to see students of our school among the University graduates. Let the knowledge you have gained help you achieve your goals. I wish you both material and moral satisfaction. Therefore, may you work, love, get married, and give birth to children who will first become the students of our school and then of our University.”
In addition to the honoured guests who are graduates of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, the laureates of national and international competitions, students of the Faculty of Culture and Arts Anastasia Dorenko, Bohdana Nagorna and Jessica Kondratiuk entertained the audience with wonderful performances.
The festive venue traditionally ended with a myriad of smiles, high spirits, group photographs, and throwing mortarboards. Good luck, Masters!
