Anastasiia has already started her duties in New York and participated in a number of important events for Ukraine. About her functions and tasks, the lady notes: “From that last night of a relatively “peaceful life” to today, a year has passed. This is a year of changes, rethinking, achievements and failures, best and worst moments.
This year, as in 2022, I will spend February 23 at work again, although a little further than Kyiv. But Ukraine, pain, understanding of needs, challenges and quick solutions are staying with me. fear, uncertainty and despair are gone. And this is good. Today, I am among the people who chose the decision that arms and the opportunity to continue to exist for us, Ukraine. And we will not stop. Every day, we speak out (in diplomatic language) our needs. We are reminded every day that war is not just words. It’s life at stake. Hundreds of thousands of lives...
On February 22, 2023, we held the largest event for Ukraine in this format, during which we talked about the violation of human rights as a result of the aggression of the russian federation and everything we could communicate about it. Accessible, clear, understandable and illustrative.
For the first time, I distinctively felt my role. I am grateful for the sincerity of the speakers, and to our incredible military. To every country that supports. We will win for sure. Glory to Ukraine!”
While in the USA, Anastasiia Tokarska will also work on the empirical component of her dissertation research “The role of the Ukrainian diaspora in the implementation of Ukraine’s public diplomacy.” We wish her success in the professional and scholarly field!
