The famous Ukrainian TV presenter and blogger Lesya Nikitiuk visited Lutsk and Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University to film the next episode of the author’s travel show “Le Marshrutka”.
In particular, the film crew visited the laboratory for the production of ointments for military personnel, where students and lecturers of the faculty of chemistry, ecology and pharmacy work.
Head of the Department of Organic Chemistry and Pharmacy Nataliia Slyvka delivered the guest a tour around the laboratory and shared production details. During the filming, the presenter offered the volunteers of Lesya’s University patriotic and humorous names for the ointments. For example, “Victory-forming Ointment”, “Assault counter-enemy ointment with sharp smell”, “Orco-stopping ointment”, which should be rubbed in until the enemy completely disappears, soothing “Arestovych”, which should be rubbed in for two to three weeks. Lesya Nikitiuk was also interested in lavender bags for a restful sleep. It should be noted that the travel show “Le Marshrutka” is one of the most popular on Ukrainian television. Lesya Ukrainka University is the only higher education institution featured in a media story in the third season of the project.
