The «Embroideries of Olga Kosach-Kryvynyuk» summer attraction dedicated to the works of Lesya Ukrainka’s sister was held in Lesya Ukrainka University Museum as part of the «Embroidery in the Clothes of Prominent Ukrainians» project.
Museum Director, Tetiana Danyliuk-Tereshchuk, noted that the! Embroidery in the clothes of prominent Ukrainians! project captured one of life attitudes of the Kosach family such as caring for the Ukrainian things as well as for beauty.
During the event, a meeting was held with the project participants showing the audience their original embroidery. All interested in the Kosach family could also listen to the project curator’s video lecture of Maryna Oliinyk called «Embroidered stories of Olga Kosach-Kryvyniuk», see the reproduction of a cartouche based on the embroidery schemes of Olga Kosach-Kryvyniuk, which were presented by the representative of Technical Vocational College of LNTU, Oksana Lysiuk. Head of the «Embroidery in the clothes of outstanding Ukrainians» NGO Tetiana Zeh received such an embroidery from Oksana Lysiuk.
At the end, in the best traditions of the Kosach family, all visitors were treated to pies, just the way Petro Antonovych would treat his guests. College representatives helped to realise this idea.
