From September 30 to October 2, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University hosted the inauguration of freshmen.
Notably this year, about 4,400 people entered Lesya Ukrainka University to obtain various educational degrees. For security reasons, the inauguration ceremonies were launched for the faculties on separate days. There were the faculties which celebrated on their own, while others united.
Rector attended the inaugurations of all faculties. Anatolii Tsios congratulated the students on the start of their studies, assuring that the University will do everything possible to ensure the utmost safety and high-quality of the educational process. The Head of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University noted that the main goal of every Ukrainian at the moment is to push the limits towards winning the war.
During the events, the audience commemorated the fallen Heroes with a moment of silence, later on the patriotic songs and poems sounded from the stage. The organizers invited the Defenders of Ukraine, as well as notable graduates and stakeholders, who shared their success “recipes”.
The deans, lecturers and parents addressed the freshmen with encouragement. The newly-minted Lesya’s people took the student’s oath and attended the prayer mass at the university church of Saint Sophia – Wisdom of God.
