For many years, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and the “Down Syndrome” NGO have been reliable partners. On October 21, the University held celebrations on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of the foundation of this public organization. A lot of Lesya’s people attended the venue.
The founder and head of the public organisation, Olena Melnyk, thanked all partners for their cooperation. In particular, she expressed gratitude to Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. “Without cooperation, it would be difficult to achieve good results. We all aspire to change for the better,” she said.
Rector of Lesya Ukrainka University, Anatolii Tsos also highly praised the cooperation. “We are proud of cooperation with this public organisation. We will do everything so that the children feel at home with us and do not feel any barriers,” he summarised.
A number of concert performances were shown. It should be noted that the representatives of our University participated in the organisation of the holiday to prepare demonstration performances, dance moves, relay races and more.
