A meeting with servicepersons of 60th Separate Mechanised Brigade took place at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. The event was attended by the administration, lecturing staff, employees and students of the University.
At the beginning of the event, Rector Anatolii Tsos took the floor, who once again emphasized that the most important task now for every Ukrainian is the Victory: "Along with training, we must do everything to make Victory happen as soon as possible." Afterwards, the guests honoured the perished Heroes with a moment of silence.
After that, Rector gave the floor to the Defenders of Ukraine from the 60th SMB, who participated in the liberation of Kherson Region and the defense of Bakhmut. Military personnel are currently on rotation, but will soon go to the battlefield again.
The students asked a lot of questions, applauded to military remarks, and when the fallen Heroes were carried along the streets of Lutsk, all civilians stood up and honoured the Defenders of Ukraine. "Your task is to learn, love Ukraine and help us," said the military mortarman, a company top manager in his peaceful life. "We will stand until the end, until the Victory," added the buddy. Both militaries thanked the University team for its support and assistance.
Rector Anatolii Tsos reminded everyone that Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University continues collecting funds for the purchase of Starlink systems. At the end of the venue, the servicepersons signed the flag of Ukraine for Lesya’s people.
