Professor of the department of music and practical training, People's Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Chepelyuk once again demonstrated his active civic and life position. Vasyl Adamovych was in Poland at the end of May. This trip was remarkably efficient.
In particular, he held two master classes at a music school in Chelm and a secondary school in Volya Okruzka on May 27. The teacher of Frederic Chopin Music School No. 1 Iryna Tsygankova and her student Tereza Verzun-Rolinger jointly with Vasyl Chepeliuk held these master classes. The theme of the event is methodology and practical recommendations for necessary knowledge and skills development in the vocal art sector.
Moreover, Vasyl Chepelyuk participated in the Polish-Ukrainian Relations Committee Meeting in Lublin Department of the Polish Academy of Sciences as an invited guest on May 31. Yury Gromyk, Vice-Rector for academic work and recruitment joined the meeting online.
Miroslav Konechnyi, the Director of Volya Okruzka secondary school, concertmaster of the Faculty of Culture and Arts Svitlana Duda, teacher of Frederic Chopin Music School No. 1 Mariia Lukach, representatives of the scientific society from Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Kyiv, Warsaw, Lublin and Lodz. A special periodical "Portfolio of Polish-Ukrainian Cultural Societies Committees’ " dedicated to Professor Felix Chizhevsky was presented at the event.
Professor Miroslava Oldakovska-Kuflova opened the meeting. After that, Vasyl Chepeliuk solo concert took place. The artist performed the songs "Chary Polissya" by Yan Kostetskyi and "Ridna Maty Moya" in Polish.
During the meeting the topical issues were discussed. For example, the speech of the Headmaster of the Volya Okruzka gmina concerned the necessity to open the bridge near the village Adamchuky to connect Ukrainian and Polish Polissya. This issue is being actively discussed by the representatives of the government and diplomacy.
It should be noted that the gmina Volya Okruzka gave humanitarian aid for Ukrainian fighters. Vasyl Chepeliuk brought it to Ukraine to a volunteer position. It should be noted that Vasyl Adamovych brings humanitarian aid from abroad not for the first time.
