On October 5, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University hosted a meeting between Larysa Zasekina, Vice-Rector for Research and International Affairs, Iryna Tatushko and Vladyslav Kolomechyuk, representatives of the International Relations Department, Oduro Yeboah Gabriel, Representative of foreign students and Student Dean, Oleksandr Shum.
This is the first meeting between the student dean and a representative of foreign students in the framework of establishing work, improving the educational process and organizing leisure of foreign and Ukrainian students. In particular, student dean Oleksandr Shum stressed that this is a good opportunity for students to expand intercultural ties and share experiences. He also noted that in the near future the University plans to hold events to celebrate Student Day. That is why foreign students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University will join the development of the agenda.
The representative of foreign students Oduro Yeboah Gabriel noted that this is the first time in recent years when he, and other foreign students, began to feel their involvement in student life and the life of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University in general. Larysa Zasiekina noted that such cooperation and involvement will only intensify in the future, as foreign students are an integral part of modern higher education institution.
