A Meeting of the University Youth Policy Council is Held

On September 7, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University held a meeting of the Youth Policy Council with the participation of Rector Anatolii Tsios, vice-rectors, representatives of the administration, deans of faculties, deputy deans for educational work, and representatives of the student body.

Anatolii Tsios congratulated the audience on the beginning of the academic year, talked about the safety component and the educational process in face-to-face mode. “Our task is to help young people organise an active student life. We must fill classes with emotions, not be afraid to conduct lectures and practical classes in different locations. The educational process must be high-quality and safe,” he mentioned.

In addition, Rector spoke about the preparation of the order on the salary increase for deputy deans for educational work. “I will demand high-quality and professional work from you,” Anatolii Tsios said.

Nataliia Blahovirna, the Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Communication, underlined that the main emphasis of the University’s promotional and communication strategy will be aimed at students. The Vice-Rector for Academic Work and Recruitment Yurii Hromyk said that meetings with the student body will be practiced. He called on deans and deputies to actively communicate with students. “You should know about the students' problems and their needs,” Yurii Hromyk noted.

In addition, the peculiarities of freshmen consecration were discussed. The Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Communication Nataliia Blahovirna and the Officer-in-Charge of the Head of the Department of Youth Policy and Social Work Vasyl Zakreva unveiled the details of the event.

Also, during the meeting, emphasis was placed on actions during an air alert. Ihor Chulipa, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Material and Technical Support, explained in detail. Rector Anatolii Tsios urged everyone to respond to air alarms and take safety measures.
