On September 5, 2025, an open day of Volyn Regional Small Academy of Sciences was organiіed within the walls of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
The event took place in the STEAM laboratory, a joint educational space of the University and the Academy of Sciences. Students of grades 4–7 got acquainted with various scientific studies in order to later choose an interesting direction for themselves.

The organisers were Vita Roik, Deputy Director of Volyn SAS, and Nataliia Maroniuk, Head of the Organisional and Mass Department of Volyn SAS, to visit the children. Anatoliy Tsos, Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, greeted the students and told about the study opportunities. “We closely cooperate with the Small Academy of Sciences. Today, together with the leaders and representatives, I have an honor to show you some locations. In the future, I invite you to our University, we will be glad to have you here. Let's work together for education and our country,” Anatolii Vasylovych encouraged.

Vita Roik told the story of cooperation with Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. “We opened this laboratory together with the University almost two years ago. There are clubs, studios and sections here. Children can research, experiment, write their first projects, scientific papers, and prepare for all-Ukrainian events,” the deputy director shared.



Each scientific studio has its own leader: Robotics – Anton Yevtushok, Natural Science – Tetiana Krotiuk, Chemistry – Orysia Berezniuk, Psychology – Alina Muzychuk, Virtual Reality – Valeriy Mazuryk. The students got acquainted with interesting locations, took part in experiments and visited virtual reality.
