The Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Anatolii Tsos, signed an agreement on the implementation of the “Double Diploma” programme in the specialties 101 “Ecology” and “Production and Marketing of Food Products” with the Jan Dlugosz University of Humanities and Natural Sciences in Częstochowa.
This is the fifth agreement at the Faculty of Chemistry, Ecology and Pharmacy and the third on the joint study of students in the specialty 101 “Ecology”. Two previous agreements allow environmental students to obtain a second Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology. It is important that all students of the specialty 101 “Ecology” have the opportunity to study the Polish language during the first year, which makes the educational process much easier for the programme participants.

From now on, environmental students will be able to choose an additional specialty. A special feature of the “Double Diploma” programme in the specialties 101 “Ecology” and “Production and Marketing of Food Products” is that during the study of academic disciplines and five internships, the students will get to know and study the peculiarities of production, processing, storage, packaging and certification, marketing and logistics of food products in the EU countries.
Such opportunity at the faculty is also available for the students of the specialty 102 “Chemistry” studying on the specialty “Chemistry of medicines” of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

The programme coordinators at the faculty are Associate Professors of the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection Maria Boyaryn and Oksana Tsos, with the assistance of Larysa Marushko, the Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry, Ecology and Pharmacy.
