Besides its functional duties, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University continues to actively support defenders of Ukraine. This time, within the framework of the charitable Easter Marathon, a number of events took place in the University with the participants actively donating cash and card transfers. In the end, based on the event results, it was possible to collect UAH 249,493. In addition, the University employees transferred one-day earnings of UAH 616,154 in total. As a result, the people of Lesya managed to collect UAH 865,647 through joint initiatives:
– a series of charity master classes «Pysanka Peremohy» – UAH 47,795;
– the charity duel show «Who’s on Top? » – UAH 13,457;
– All-Ukrainian Festival of Choreographic Art «Volyn Wreath» – UAH 13,800;
– the charity run – UAH 5,900; – the jubilee concert of People’s Artist of Ukraine Vasyl Chepeliuk – UAH 18,000; – «Coffee Donat» – 32,270 (in particular, Building H – 18,804 UAH, Faculty of Foreign Philology – 8,270 UAH); – «Postcard Donation» from Museum of Lesya Ukrainka – UAH 1,500; – the charity events of Vocational College of Technology, Business and Law – UAH 38,000;
– charity theater event «Forest Song» – UAH 14,000;
– charity event for the embroidery day – UAH 64,771 (auction – UAH 34,200, box – UAH 26,686, «jar» – UAH 3,885);
– one-day earnings of University employees – UAH 616,154.
«Maximum support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is one of the priorities of every Ukrainian during the war. The University once again managed to collect funds to purchase the necessary equipment for our defenders through joint initiatives.
