On April 7, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine by its order №320 included the Scientific Journal “East European Journal of Psycholinguistics” (“Eastern European Journal of Psycholinguistics”) (https://eejpl.vnu.edu.ua/), the founder and publisher of which is our University, to the list of scientific professional publications of “A” category.
This decision was preceded by the recommendation of the Qualification Committee (CSAB) of the Scopus Scientometric Database in 2019 to index our publication in this international database. The journal, whose editorial board today includes respected scholars from 17 countries, is an international peer-reviewed open source periodical published twice a year in print and online.
The purpose of the journal is to unite the efforts of world scientists in disseminating, promoting and discussing a variety of new topics and ideas of modern psycholinguistics.
After a scrupulous anonymous review, the journal publishes original manuscripts on the following theoretical and applied fields of psycholinguistics: neurolinguistics, cognitive psychology, language psychology, and translation studies.
Since its foundation in 2014, the journal has published about 300 scientific articles and reviews by authors from more than 20 countries.
The Editor-in-Chief, Serhii Zasiekin owes the authority and recognition of the psycholinguistic periodical in the world to both young and more experienced Ukrainian and foreign linguists and psychologists. Their articles, according to the site's integrated PlumX Metrics tool from Elsevier, are very popular with readers, which substantiate confidence in the journal’s right direction. Therefore, the contribution of each author is important in the enrichment of empirical knowledge about language, processes of its generation and understanding.
