On September 22, a meeting was held between Rector Anatolii Tsios and Vice-Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Zbigniew Pastushak, with the participation of Deputy Director of the Lublin Development Strategy Department Monika Krul, NeuroEduLab Project Manager Malgozhata Hojak, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Cooperation of Lesya Ukrainka University Liudmyla Yelisieieva, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work Valentyna Vitiuk and Anna Olkhova, Head of the “Effect of the Child” NGO. The peculiarities of the development of the Ukrainian institution of higher education during the war were discussed and the prospects for joint international cooperation outlined.


At the same time, Anatolii Tsios and Zbigniew Pastushak signed the Academic Agreement on the cooperation between Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and Maria Curie-Sklodowska University regarding cooperation within the framework of the “Entrepreneurial Children” project. This project was first launched in 2018. Last year, it was promoted to the international level within the framework of cooperation between the city of Lublin (Republic of Poland) and the city of Cambridge (Great Britain).


This year, Lutsk became the first town in Ukraine to implement the “Entrepreneurial Children” programme at the university and its institutes. Active work in this project is ensured by Valentyna Vitiuk. Now she is in Lublin together with students of the Faculty of Pedagogical Education and Social Work.


As soon as the meeting was closed, the Rector and Vice-Rector communicated with the students. Young people enthusiastically shared their impressions of the lectures they attended at the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University, the excursions to Polish enterprises, and the practice of working with Polish schoolchildren. At the end of the meeting, an emotional photo session was organised.
