Another tripartite agreement on education with elements of a dual form of education was signed at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. Eight students of Faculty of Foreign Philology will combine theoretical studies with work for the InternetDevels IT company.
The meeting was attended by Rector of the University Anatolii Tsos, Head of the IT company InternetDevels Viktor Levandovskyi, students, lecturers.
Head of Department of Applied Linguistics Iryna Biskub noted that this is already the fourth recruitment of students for the implementation of the programme for obtaining higher education with elements of a dual form of education, realised within the framework of the memorandum on cooperation between Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and the IT company. “We all understand that if the project had not been successful, the fourth set would not have taken place. There would be no second set either. And since our project is working, it means that we are in the right place with the right people and doing the right things,” said Iryna Biskub.
Anatolii Tsos thanked the InternetDevels company and Viktor Levandovskyi for their cooperation in the development of the dual form of education. “There used to be a downside of theory and practice not going together. And the introduction of elements of a dual form of education into education makes it possible to bring theory and practice as close as possible. This is the model of education that gives good results,” said Anatolii Vasyliovych.
Addressing the youth, Victor Levandovskyi mentioned that the world is changing and these changes are made by people. And interaction with the University is beneficial for the institution of higher education, for the IT company, and for the students. “We are on our way. This is how we get into the future and everyone gets their own,” Viktor Levandovskyi concluded.
