On January 13, 2025, a meeting was held dedicated to summing up the results of scientific and research work conducted during 2024. The event was organised within the framework of the scientific and research topic "Survey of the work area: Manevytska-1, Manevytska-2, Kamin-Kashyrska-1, Kamin-Kashyrska-2, the Velykie Bahno, Velykie Boloto, Koza-Berezyna, Stobykhivske peat deposits".
The meeting was attended by Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Anatolii Tsos, Head of the Volynpryrodresurs CE of Volyn Regional Council, Anatolii Kapustiuk, Head of Department of Zoology, Professor Kateryna Sukhomlin, Assistant Professor of Department of Botany and Methods of Teaching Natural Sciences Larysa Kotsun, Head of Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection,Assistant Professor Volodymyr Radziy, as well as a deputy of Volyn Regional Council, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Ecology and Rational Use of Natural Resources, Yurii Roiko.
The discussion began with an introductory speech by Head of the Volynprirodresurs CE, Anatolii Kapustiuk: “Every year we come together to summarise the results of monitoring planned activities, in particular in 2024, as well as to assess the situation in our deposits and adjacent territories. This would definitely not have been possible without the support of the University, your specialists and faculties. Therefore, I express my sincere gratitude for your help and cooperation.”
Rector of Lesya Ukrainka National University Anatolii Tsos emphasized the importance of the partnership: “I sincerely thank you for the cooperation, it is extremely effective and productive. It is especially pleasant to realize that we have a great scientific and pedagogical potential of our employees, who are able to perform truly important work. It is extremely important that scientific research is aimed at solving practical problems. We continue to cooperate effectively,” Anatolii Tsos noted.
The participants of the event discussed the work results, assessed their significance for the region, and also outlined the plans for further cooperation in 2025.
