On the agenda was a review of the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine on the appointment of Anatolii Tsos as Rector and a discussion of the University's Development Strategy until 2030. In their speeches, the members of the Supervisory Board noted the personal dedication and professionalism of Rector Anatolii Tsos, and also assured of further support of the administration's initiatives.
Borys Tarasiuk noted that he was impressed by the dynamics and diversity of the tasks performed by the University. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary was invited to take part in lectures for students, because direct communication with a representative of a high diplomatic level is extremely important for young people.
Hryhoriy Nedopad and Andriy Razumovskyi also congratulated Rector on his official inauguration expressing hope for fruitful cooperation in the future.

A special emphasis was placed on the development of the medical field. The university plans to continue to close cooperation with leading medical institutions in the region. The members of the Supervisory Board also noted the growing role of Medical Faculty in wartime conditions and the importance of training specialists committed to the development of Ukrainian medicine.
“Having such a powerful base as our University and such opportunities in the medical field as a regional hospital, a city medical association and highly qualified specialists we can be, and already are, the leaders in training of future doctors. The students coming to us for internships are extremely motivated young people sincerely supporting medicine and aspiring to become doctors. And this is of particular importance, because we see an acute shortage of medical workers both in civilian institutions and in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” said Oleksandr Dudar.
“I will start by saying that I am sincerely convinced that you have already done a lot and at the same time there is still a lot to be done. It is important that you have the potential and strength to move forward and develop all key areas. At the meeting of the Supervisory Board, we discuss various initiatives and prospects, in particular the medical area. This is a real, not yet fully developed field, full of challenges, but at the same time exciting and important. Going along the beaten path is one thing. But opening up new areas, looking for non-standard solutions is a completely different thing. This is both more difficult and at the same time more interesting, because new ideas, new practices, new results are being born,” Andriy Yahelskyi said.
Rector Anatolii Tsos presented the key guidelines of the University Development Strategy until 2030. Among the main priorities: the quality of education and updating of educational programmes; development of the higher educational establishment as a research and educational institution; veteran policy and support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine; open management and development of corporate culture.

Iryna Konstankevych paid special attention to the issue of preparing for the celebration of the 600th anniversary of the Congress of European Monarchs in 2029 in Lutsk. Anatolii Vasylyovych emphasized that the University has already submitted its proposals to Volyn Regional Military Administration and is ready to take on a humanitarian block of events.
Among the topics were personnel policy and employee bonus systems, expansion of international cooperation and academic mobility, and replenishment of the teaching staff. Viktor Korsak emphasized the need for a clear formulation of the University's competitive advantages at the global level. Work in this direction was agreed to continue.
“It is important for us to proceed through education, through science in times of war, because this is our future and only we can generate its space and parameters. "I want to thank everyone here for our joint work, for your participation, for the time you spend on such a useful and necessary cause," Iryna Konstankevych concluded.
