February 25, 2025, on the birthday of the outstanding Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka, the opening of the exhibition «Thinkers of the Future» took place at Lesya Ukrainka Museum. The event brought together the university community, admirers of the writer's work and the institution's administration.

Acting rector Anatolii Tsos emphasized the significance of Lesya Ukrainka's figure for the University and Volyn: «Lesya Ukrainka is everything for Volyn National University! We are proud of her, we research and promote her work. I am proud of our employees who have prepared the 14-volume collection of Lesya Ukrainka's works, and I am grateful for the completion of the publication of Olena Pchilka's works. This is a very important step into the future. We are doing our job efficiently and working for the development of the University, Volyn and all of Ukraine,» Anatolii Tsos summarised.

In his introductory speech, Head of Department of Theory of Literature and Foreign Literature, Serhii Romanov, shared the idea of the exhibition's title: «Thinkers of the Future – this is exactly the name we chose for the exhibition. It is an extremely accurate name, because it is about what creates the Ukrainian cause, with its all kinds of meanings. The Kosachs have always understood who we are and who we can become.»

The presentation of the exhibition was held by the director of the museum, Tetiana Danyliuk-Tereshchuk. She spoke about the creative legacy not only of Lesya Ukrainka and Olena Pchilka, but also about the entire glorious family of Kosachs and Dragomanovs, emphasizing their contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture and literature.

The figure of Lesya Ukrainka is of special importance for our University, because her name is not only its pride, but inspires the scientific and creative community. The university actively promotes the poet's legacy and does everything to preserve and multiply it for future generations.
