Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University will cooperate with Kolodiazhne Community. The agreement was signed by Head of the Community Vitalii Kashyk and Rector of the University Anatolii Tsos during a working visit to Kolodiazhne.
Lesya Ukrainka University delegation visited Kolodiazhne during the days commemorating the patroness of the educational institution, including the places where the writer used to live, get inspired and create. As part of the delegation led by Anatolii Tsos, Kovel Region was visited by: Yuriy Hromyk, Vice-Rector for Academic Work and Recruitment, Nataliia Blahovirna, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Communications, Rector's Assistant Tetyana Rospopa, Director of Lesya Ukrainka Museum of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Tetiana Danyliuk-Tereshchuk, Head of Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, Volodymyr Radziy.

During the meeting with Head of Kolodyazhne Community, the University representatives discussed all possible options for mutually beneficial and effective cooperation and involvement of the University's scientific potential in the development of the community's economy and humanitarian sphere.

The meeting resulted in the signing of a corresponding memorandum providing the activation of scientific, scholarly, technical and innovative activities in the community, the involvement of University scientists in the development of community projects, the implementation of scientific developments in various areas of the community, the organisation of joint events, the establishment of cooperation with community employers in the area of dual education, sharing industrial practice at enterprises and institutions of the community, and more.

After that, the University representatives met with community high school students, told about Lesya Ukrainka University, its peculiarities, specialties and opportunities after obtaining a diploma of higher education.




At the end of the working visit, the University delegation visited the Literary-Memorial Museum House of Lesya Ukrainka in Kolodiazhne.
