Lesya’s people continue to work enthusiastically bringing closer the Victory of Ukraine. This time, the University managed to implement a wonderful initiative – a charity photo marathon for the Vyshyvanka Day.
The event was held under the motto "Together to Victory" for a reason. During May 18, the university community collected funds for the purchase of a DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo quadcopter for our defenders from the 100th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade.
The location of the charity event was the room of the Volyn Regional Museum of the Ukrainian Army and Military Equipment. The participants of the photo marathon were representatives of all structural divisions of the University, led by Rector Anatolii Tsos, who thanked all for joining the wonderful initiative, as a testimony of the cooperation between Lesya Ukrainka University and AFU.
Lesya’s people took thousands of pictures against the background of the museum exposition in embroidered dresses. Professional photographers working on a volunteer basis helped to seize the moment.
It should be noted that the participants of the event had the opportunity to make donations both in cash and in digital form. At the time of this publication, the organisers managed to collect UAH 80,005. The initiator was Iryna Levchuk, Associate Professor of the Department of History and Culture of the Ukrainian Language. The organisers note the excellent synergy of the University's administration, structural divisions and student activity, in particular the Students' Trade Union Committee and its Head Inna Pastushok.
