The students of Specialties 256 National Security and 262 Law Enforcement Activities of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University received chevrons.
The solemn ceremony took place on September 8 morning. The event began with a joint performance of the National Anthhem of Ukraine and commemoration of fallen Heroes. After that, Rector Anatolii Tsos was invited to speak and congratulate the students on their admission to Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. "We will do everything necessary for you to get a quality education. We have all the conditions for this," he said.
Rector also highlighted the fact that it is necessary to jointly contribute to the Victory of Ukraine over the aggressor. According to Anatolii Tsos, today, September 8, the university presents chevrons to its students for the first time so this event is really significant and symbolic.
Oleksandr Furman, Deputy Head of Lutsk Territorial Centre for Recruitment and Social Support, congratulated the students on their admission and receiving the chevrons, wished them quality education and the Victory.
Dean of Faculty of History, Political Science and National Security, Yaroslav Yarosh, and Dean of Faculty of Law Anton Demchuk congratulated their students.
After that, the procedure of handing out chevrons started. The event ended with a mess in the university church. In total, more than 80 students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University received chevrons.
