The gala evening of the project «Entrepreneurial Сhildren 2023» was held in the Palace of Culture of the Сity of Lutsk, organised by students, lecturers and management of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
60 children of school and preschool age and 15 students took part in the international project «Entrepreneurial Children 2023». The project novelty is the participation of kindergarten students in the regional center of Volyn as small entrepreneurs.
Lesya Ukrainka University became a co-organiser of the project implementation together with the Lutsk City Council, NGO «Child Effect». The representatives of Lutsk and Volyn companies became project partners.
«Dear children, a successful person must work very hard, be very active and know and be able to do a lot. It is extremely correct and effective that there is such a project that allows children to master the competencies that are so necessary in later life from an early age. In order for you to master entrepreneurial competences, the best students work with you. And they study at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. Most of your tutors also studied at our educational institution, so study, acquire new knowledge and skills and come to study with us,» said Anatolii Tsos.
The project was implemented for the first time in Lublin, Poland, in 2018. In a few years, the Polish city brought it to the international level, and in 2022 Lutsk became the first city to implement the project in Ukraine.
During the project, children from Lutsk learned to earn and spend money, taking into account the current situation in the country, learned to write business plans, attended master classes, and acquired practical knowledge in the field of business.
At the final part of the project, the participants, among whom were the students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, were recognised with diplomas. Part of the funds earned during the implementation of the project will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, the soldiers received a tablet from young entrepreneurs.
