The Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatolii Tsos met with the Head of the Supporting Services Team of “USAID AGRO” Oleksandr Osovets.
The meeting was attended by Volodymyr Radzii, the Associate Professor of the Department of Geodesy, Land Management and Cadastre, and the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Geography, Associate Professor Oleksandr Melnyk.
During the meeting, the participants discussed possible options for the cooperation between the educational institution and representatives of the USAID Programme on Agriculture and Rural Development.
Oleksandr Osovets noted that scientists can participate in the research and analytical work, project development, the programme representatives can share experience and achievements and act as educators for the students of the Faculty of Geography. In particular, during the conversation, Oleksandr Osovets presented the University with educational materials and results of pilot projects on spatial planning of community development, supported by the USAID AGRO Programme.
Anatolii Tsos expressed his gratitude to Oleksandr Osovets for the provided materials and hopes that the cooperation would be productive and mutually beneficial.
