The head of the Entrepreneurship and Marketing Department, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Kostiantyn Pavlov and the head of the Economics and Nature Management Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, associate professor Alla Suriak took part in the ceremonial opening of the ninth in Ukraine innovative RGC (Regional Gas Center) “Educational Space”. The event was held on July 5, at the Volyngaz JSC. The opening of RGC "Educational Space" is another stage in the implementation of the JSC “Volyngaz” complex program for the development of client service. Its main goal is to create a new space for improving the gas workers' qualifications and the provided services.
All the employees can study in the educational center, particularly those who directly serve domestic gas networks. Engineering-technical specialists, emergency dispatch service specialists, gas industry fitters, as well as students, schoolchildren, and even company clients will improve their qualifications there. The RGC “Educational Space” program combines educational technologies, development of gas equipment, and well-thought-out design. About 120 people will be able to study here every month. Currently, the gas industry of Ukraine is in utmost need of highly-qualified specialists.
Thus, the idea of creating such training centers has been supported by all 20 gas distribution companies that are a part of RGC, and they all at once started implementing the idea.
A modern approach to the educational process organization makes it possible to conduct theoretical and practical training simultaneously. RGC “Educational Space” program is divided into two separate zones. The theory zone is designed for a comfortable stay of 30 students. A large touch-screen monitor, comfortable chairs, an equipped rest area, spacious rooms, and a well-thought-out design contribute to easy learning.
More than 200 units of gas equipment are presented in the hall for practical classes. Here, students of specialized educational institutions can undergo their vocational practice. The welders or other gas workers who work at the enterprises of Volyn can improve their qualifications. The equipment will be constantly updated. It will allow the specialists in the gas sector to keep pace with the time.
The training stands present tangible elements of the gas distribution system and modern tools for its maintenance. Among them, you will find equipment of Ukrainian production, as well as world brands adapted to Ukrainian gas distribution networks. Owing to the training conducted by certified trainers on genuine equipment which gas workers use in their work daily, the JSC “Volyngaz” specialists can significantly improve their practical skills.
The RGC “Educational Space” implements VR- technologies, using which you can go through the whole process of assembling and disassembling the gas control divisions. If a specialist has done something wrong, he will have to take the re-examination. That is, in virtual reality, the worker performs real work. This is how specialists raise their professional level required for high-quality maintenance of equipment and saving money for Volyngaz consumers.
