The representatives of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University participated in the charity fair “Wave of Good”. The event took place near the café “Stare Misto” on December, 18.
The idea to organize the auction came from children with Down syndrome, their parents and volunteers. The aim of the event is to raise funds for the treatment of Albina Yarmoliuk, who is fighting leukemia and is currently being treated in Belarus.
The organizers established a charity fair, where everyone could buy paintings, Christmas toys, handmade things, sweets, etc.
The event was attended by the representatives of Lesya Ukrainka University as well. Namely, the rector Anatolii Tsos, deans, teachers and students of our University were present. "Lesya's people" talked to the participants of the event, bought products and things and took a joint photo with the organizers of the charity fair.
