Volyn Region–University team won the recent women’s volleyball championship of Ukraine. Kateryna Cherkashyna, a first-year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Health, and the central blocker of the team, was distinguished as the best player in the nomination “The Best MVP of the match”. The volleyball player scored 15 points including 4 aces. According to Kateryna, it was her self-confidence giving her scoring ability and helping to win. The award was presented to the athlete by Pantelei Ratsa, the Honorary Judge of the NGO FVU (Federation of Volleyball of Ukraine). Congratulations to the entire female team and their coach!
