Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University signed a memorandum on interaction and cooperation with State Customs Service of Ukraine.
During Rector Anatolii Tsos's conversation with the representatives of Volyn Customs guided by Andrii Chaboray all possible mutually beneficial cooperation options between the two institutions were discussed. The meeting was also attended by Nataliia Blahovirna, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Communication, Ihor Chulipa, Vice-Rector for Scientific-Pedagogical Work, Economic Development and Project Activities, Oleh Dykyi, Director of Educational and Scientific Institute of Continuing Education.
During the conversation, the urgency of cooperation with the State Customs Service of Ukraine was emphasized by Anatolii Tsos, as the University presented a new educational and professional programme «Customs Affairs and Finances of Foreign Economic Activity». «We understand your need for different specialists, but we hope that the opening of this EP will encourage us to closer cooperation,» said Rector.
Andrii Chaborai noted that State Customs Service of Ukraine is developing towards the European level, and young, highly qualified specialists will help the structure develop even faster. «We are now having a very important mission. We present the acting head of State Customs Service Serhii Zviahintsev and we are going to sign a memorandum of cooperation. This is an important step for both of us,» noted Andrii Chaborai.
A solemn signing of the memorandum followed being concluded to increase the effectiveness of the training of specialists with higher education and promote their practical training, improve the qualifications of officials of State Customs Service and its territorial bodies, conduct joint scientific research in the field of customs affairs and more.
