The Cybermetrics laboratory has published the open rating of universities TRANSPARENT RANKING: Top Universities by Citations in Top Google Scholar profiles (July 2022). The rating provides the clarity assessment, relevance and significance of the universities’ scientific activity.
The Transparent Ranking identifies the top universities by citations in public Google Scholar institutional profiles. Institutional profiles are considered to be the profiles of employees who have specified the institution’s full official name and corporate mail in the University domain.
The rating calculation is based on the data of the 210 most cited authors of the institution of higher education. The first 20 from this list are excluded to facilitate representativeness. The number of thecitations is summed for the rest of the most cited profiles and the higher education institutions are ranked in the descending order of this indicator. Among the 96 Ukrainian higher education institutions that made it to the world ranking, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University took the 21st place with an index of 33,924 citations. Our University ranks fourth among higher education institutions of the Western region of Ukraine:

In the updated rating, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University superseded Lutsk National Technical University by 39 positions, with the difference in the number of citations 23,137.
The National Technical University of Ukraine "Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" was distinguished as the leader among Ukrainian higher education institutions with an index of 142,390 citations. The world leader in this ranking is Harvard University with an index of 18,129,969 citations.
