On the initiative of Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatolii Tsos within the framework of the "Visiting Professor" programme, the students of specialties 017 Physical Culture and Sports and 014 Secondary Education (Physical Culture) had the opportunity to listen to a course of online lectures by leading scientists of the University of South Carolina (USA) for a month: Christine Pellegrini, Ph.D., Associate Professor; Toni Torres-McGehee, Ph.D., SCAT, ATC; Shana Harrington, PT, Ph.D.; Katie Hirsch, PhD, EP-C, CISSN, Assistant Professor. The coordinator of online events is Svitlana Indyka, Head of Department of Fitness and Cycle Sports.

The topics of the lectures were dedicated to ensuring a healthy lifestyle and the role of physical activity in the lives of various population groups: "Propagation of Physical Activity in the Community"; "Body Image of Athletes"; "Paralympic Sports: Challenges and Opportunities"; "High Intensity Interval Training"; "Ergogenic Aids: Science Versus Myth."

It is worth noting that the course of online lectures from leading American scientists gave students the opportunity to communicate immediately with representatives of the academic and scientific elite of the United States, and also enriched the listeners with new knowledge, improved their conversational skills and competences regarding physical and motor activity in people's lives.
