The University continues to actively support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is not new that Lesya’s people with their partners managed to collect aid for our Heroes and later delivered it to the destination.
During the festivities on the occasion of Lesya Ukrainka’s birthday and the University Day, Rector Anatolii Tsos announced the collection of funds for the purchase of the Starlink satellite platform. It should be noted that one platform was handed over to the Armed Forces of by the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Member of the Supervisory Board of the higher education institution Iryna Konstankevych.
With joint efforts of the administration, teaching staff, employees and students funds were raised for three more stations, as well as a number of basic necessities. In the end, Rector of University Anatolii Tsos and the driver Vasyl Krotiuk delivered help to the military personnel of 14 Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great operating in the war zone.
Professor Kazimir Shalata, the students and employees of the Lyceum of the village of Lyubokhyny, Pidmanivsk branch of the “Svityazkyi Lyceum” educational establishment, management and employees of the “Good Deed” foundation also joined the collection of aid.
We are grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for their cooperation, and most importantly, for protecting the sovereignty and independence of our state. Heading together to the Victory!
