Vadym Muliar was born on July 26, 1969 in the village of Zaborol, Lutsk district, Volyn region.
In 1992, he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Lutsk State Pedagogical Institute named after Lesya Ukrainka (Lutsk).
In 2000, he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences at the National Pedagogical University named after Mychailo Drahomanov in Kyiv.
In 2000, he became a senior lecturer in the Department of General Physics and Physics Teaching Methods.
From 2008 to 2020, he held the position of associate professor in the Department of General Physics and Physics Teaching Methods. Since 2020, he has held the position of associate professor in the Department of Experimental Physics, Information, and Educational Technologies. In 2024, he took on the role of Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Digitalization at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
