Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University continues to actively support our Defenders who are at the front lines.
This was not for the first time that Rector Anatolii Tsos handed over help the supplies of which had been collected, manufactured and purchased for our Heroes by Lesya’s people to the servicepersons of the 14 Separate Mechanised Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. Besides, the “Good Cause” Charitable Foundation, as well as students and teachers of the Pidmanevo village school, joined the collection of aid.
The Head of the University met with the Brigade Commander, Colonel Oleksandr Okhrimenko, in one of the near front-line settlements. Rector presented the Commander of the Volyn Brigade with an honourable mention and congratulated him on his birthday.
Notably, during the previous trip to the front, Anatolii Tsos and Oleksandr Okhrimenko signed a memorandum of cooperation. It is based on joint educational, scientific, informational, social work, statesmanship and patriotic initiatives and measures that will be implemented.
