Biographical information
She was born on October 26, 1958 in Ivano-Frankivsk, Ukraine. She graduated with a gold medal in 1975. ла 9. She graduated with honors in 1980 from the Faculty of History of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University and qualified as a historian, teacher of social sciences with the right to teach in English. In 1984 she defended her dissertation and received the degree of Candidate of Historical Sciences in the specialty 07.00.02 - History of the USSR. In 1991 she received a certificate of associate professor. In 2013 she defended her doctoral dissertation in the specialty 09.00.08 - Aesthetics. In 2016 she received the academic title of Professor of Cultural Studies and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities. Author of more than 100 scientific publications. Prepared the winners of the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiads in Aesthetics and the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers in the History and Theory of Culture. Successfully supervises graduate students (6 defended dissertations). From September 2014 to September 2016, she headed the Department of Religious Studies. In the position of Head of the Department of Cultural Studies and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities - since November 2016.
Research interests
Transformations of spiritual processes in the context of secularization of culture, sacred art, phenomenology of religion, culturology of media.
