The institute was established in 2020 as a result of the reorganization of the Faculty of Information Systems of Physics, Mathematics and Informatics. The newly formed educational and scientific institute included the following departments: experimental physics, information and educational technologies, theoretical and computer physics named after A. V. Svidzinsky.

"Methods and means of forming professional competencies of teachers"

In the current development of the education system of Ukraine, the quality of the educational process in secondary, vocational, out-of-school educational institutions is determined by the level of professional competence of teachers, which to some extent depends on the quality of professional development of each teacher throughout life. After all, only well-trained, qualified and capable of further learning teachers can adequately respond to the needs of society when developing and updating work plans, programs and direct learning of students, rationally using the latest pedagogical and balanced information and communication technologies (ICT ).

The purpose  of in-service training of teachers under the program "Methods and tools for the formation of professional competencies of teachers" is: the formation of ideas about methods and techniques of interdisciplinary links in the study of natural sciences and mathematics and the formation of professional competencies of teachers by educational robotics.

Duration  of full-time training - 1 week, the workload - 30 hours (1 credit).

Target audience of advanced training courses : teachers of secondary education, vocational and out-of-school educational institutions
