Training of specialists in the specialty 024 Choreography is carried out on the basis of the Faculty of Culture and Arts of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. The scientific and pedagogical activity of the team began in 1991, when a new specialty “Choreography and Primary Education” was opened at the Department of Music at the Lesya Ukrainka Lutsk Pedagogical Institute, and the methodological commission on choreography was headed by F. Bondaruk. As an integral structure, the Department of Choreography was established by order of the rector of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University in 2001 (head - V. Duzhych-Nikolaychuk, Honored Artist of Ukraine). By merging the Department of Culturology and Management of Socio-Cultural Activities and the Department of Choreography in 2017, the Department of Culturology and Choreographic Art of the Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University was established (head - V.
