Boiar Andrii Oleksiiovych was born on June 6, 1976 in the village of Ovlochyn, Turiysk district, Volyn region, in a family of secondary school teachers. In 1998 he graduated from the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University, Faculty of International Relations. In 2003 he defended his Ph.D. thesis at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, specialty 07.00.02 – Economic and Social Geography. In 2015 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the State University " Vadym Hetman Kyiv National Economic University" in the specialty 08.00.02 – World Economy and International Economic Relations. Fluent in Ukrainian and English.
Associate professor since October 2010. Full Professor since 2019. Laureate of the Scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for Young Scientists 2009-2011. In 2010 he was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree in the nomination “The best young scientist of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University”. He has over 100 research publications, including 7 monographs, 5 textbooks, around 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals.

- October 2012 – October 2015 – Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of European Integration of the State University “Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman”;
- October 2015 – March 2016 – Head of the Research Unit of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University;
- March 2016 – March 2019 – Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovation of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University;
- since March 2019 – Head of the Department of International Economic Relations and Project Management of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European (Volyn) National University.
