Department of technical means of education “Center for Innovative Technologies and Computer Testing”
The Department of Teaching Aids “Center for Innovative Technologies and Computer Testing” (CITCT) was established as part of the implementation of the Informatization Program of Lesya Ukrainka Eastern European National University (Order No. 31-k of February 28, 2011).
In accordance with the requirements of the modern conditions of functioning of the higher education system in Ukraine, the Department of Technical Learning Tools “CITCT”, as a structural unit of the university, carries out activities in the following areas
- formation of a regulatory framework for the use of innovative teaching technologies at the university;
- technical and organizational support of the educational process in teaching disciplines, the study of which involves the use of computer technology and communication equipment;
- technical, organizational and methodological support for the control of students' knowledge in the form of computer testing;
- creation and management of a database of test tasks for module and final control of students' knowledge in academic disciplines;
- analysis and monitoring of the results of the final control of students' knowledge in the form of computer testing;
- administration of the OpenTest testing system server and the university's distance learning server;
- coordination and methodological support for the introduction and use of distance learning technologies in the university's educational process;
- organizational and methodological support for advanced training of the university teaching staff in the field of information and communication technologies;
- preparation and publication of information, scientific and methodological publications on the introduction of information and communication technologies in the educational process of the university;
- information, software and analytical support for the rating evaluation of teachers, departments, faculties (institutes) of the university.
