Youth policy covers all spheres of youth life, includes issues related to its formation and education, covers socialization processes, the entire set of ideas about the place and role of youth in society and their implementation.
The main directions of youth policy include
- Comprehensive promotion of the spiritual and physical development of students, fostering a sense of civic consciousness and patriotism;
- Ensuring the implementation of orders and instructions, instructional letters on youth policy and educational work;
- development of proposals for improving the organizational and functional structure of the management of the educational process at the University and determining the functional responsibilities of the management subjects;
- coordinating the activities of structural units, student self-government and cooperation with public organizations in matters of youth activities and educational work;
- promoting wide involvement of students in the activities of student self-government bodies, development of progressive forms of self-government;
- studying the problems of student youth and creating the necessary conditions for youth organizations to operate for the full social formation and development of young people;
- assistance in employment of students in the following areas: career guidance counseling and educational and training work;
- the work of a practical psychologist - providing psychological, anonymous consultations to students and university staff, conducting psychological trainings.
