On November 2-3, 2023, representatives of Lesya Ukrainka University took part in a methodological training on the development of professional competences of guarantors of educational programs "Main trends in the development of the accreditation process and best practices of the work of industry expert councils". The event was organized by the IBF "International Fund for Educational Policy Research" and LNTU with the support of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education.

Over the course of two days, such promising issues of higher education as institutional accreditation and post-accreditation monitoring of higher education institutions were discussed (T. Finikov, president of the IBF International Fund for Educational Policy Research, professor at the University of Warsaw), digital transformation of universities (O. Lagodniuk, deputy rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University of information technologies), innovations in the system of quality assurance in higher education of Ukraine (O. Khymenko, head of the secretariat of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Higher Education), implementation of soft skills in educational programs (T. Rak, professor of "IT STEP University"), etc.

The guarantors of the OP of the Lesya Ukrainka University had the opportunity to discuss the procedure for accreditation of educational programs, typical comments on the OP, ask questions and receive consultations from the heads of the GER in the fields of knowledge 03 Humanities, 05 Social and behavioral sciences, 12 Information technologies, 10 Natural sciences during round tables "Best practices of accreditation activity and its monitoring" and "Accreditation process and problems of its improvement" (https://www.pinterest.com/pin/914862417888617/) and advisory panels.

We ask the deans of faculties, directors of institutes and guarantors of OPP, ONP to organize a sociological study.

The survey is aimed at studying the opinions of first-year students regarding the peculiarities of their adaptation to the educational process in higher education institutions, problems, attitudes, and expectations of students of higher education in the first year of study. The survey was initiated by the administration of the Lesya Ukrainka University, implemented by the educational and methodological department of quality assurance of higher education.
